Fier de vous présenter l'épisode 3 de cette saison 2020-2021 de mes aventures musicales sur @lyl_radio .
Un podcast Retrofutur sous le signe de l'émotion. Pour celui-ci, je me suis inspiré de ces moments où tout bascule dans les relations amoureuses passionelles. Ces moments où l'on perd le controle, ce qui nous amène à faire les mauvais choix et qui finissent par précipiter le couple dans les ténèbres.

Pendant le premier confinement, je fus marqué par l'univers chaotique et mélodramatique du film "Possession" d'Andrzej Żuławski. 
Un film porté à l'écran par Isabelle Adjani et Sam neil qui jouent avec brio le couple qui se déchire. Leur souffrance, les cries et les pleurs parfois à outrance dans cette oeuvre nous malmènent et peuvent nous mettre parfois mal à l'aise. 

Pour le synopsis : c'est l'histoire de Mark qui retourne chez lui apres un long voyage à Berlin alors que sa femme, Anna, décide de le quitter. Il la soupçonne d'avoir un amant en la personne de Heinrich, un illuminé adepte du New Age. Mais celui-ci lui affirme qu'elle l'a aussi quitté pour un autre. Alors que les rapports de Mark avec sa femme deviennent de plus en plus tendus, il se rend compte que le nouvel amant de cette dernière n'est pas humain.

Voici une re-interpretation sonore du film avec une séléction musicale adapté oscillant entre ambient/abstract/modern classical/spoken words/gabber & indus.

Nick Klein is an electronic music artist interested in loud volume as form, as well as the sociology and ideology that is present in music subcultures. Netherlands based Klein runs radio programs, a label, and organizes events under the title "Psychic Liberation." He has released on the labels L.I.E.S., BANK, Unknown Precept, Viewlexx, Monorail Trespassing, and iDEAL. 

His latest release Actor-Network Theory on iDeal was recorded in 2018 and is the final record Klein made as a resident in New York, before moving to Den Haag. Taken from a caption on his Instagram, Klein describes the record as a weaving of “disparate sonic narrative[s] of dissociative opiated sleeping-bag retreats and anxiety fueled drum loops... Music for sleeping in a cold basement with a short blanket, coughing up a cigarette at Pier 94 in February, or lamenting the fickle nature of one’s own metabolism.” Actor-Network Theory can be found on iDEAL’s Bandcamp.

This text-experiment by Maru Mushtrieva is a free surfing merger of three voices speaking. Originally commissioned for an online edition of NEW FEARS #2 and as a response to Liina Magnea’s ‘rrrr’ and Matthew Day’s "False Idols (Digital Triptych) in collaboration with Reyer van Barneveld.
In ‘rrrr’, a terrace in Rome becomes a stage for insignificant clergymen who pray for redemption from hell using the present body to whimper for some sun. For "False Idols (Digital Triptych) develops documentation practices that feedback into the choreographic process of a new work under construction.
