Yoko just recently made her Odyzey Music debut with the release of “Serve It Like” on Odyzey’s latest compilation Muzique, Vol. 3. Now the talented artist puts her production abilities on full display via her 4-track EP, The Masquerade. The project kicks off with the lead single “The Day We Made The Earth Stand Still” on September 22, with the full project out on September 29. The captivating melodies and undeniable sound design are a highlight throughout the bass-laden project. 

Yoko, also known as Emi Veliz, strives to recreate the realms that exist in her own mind, and mold them into sonic experiences. Although originally from Tacoma, Washington, the esteemed producer has sculpted her sound from the influences of the Colorado underground scene. The focus of the Denver based Yoko project is to deliver heavy bass with inspiration from areas such as vintage sci-fi and classical cinema.
