The Deep Dive Sessions is a different kind of psychedelic meditative session with Bass guitar and effects. A special experience of sounds, colours and textures in an unfamiliar space.
These sessions encourage us to let go and give the body and consciousness a chance to float free in space, similar to a dreaming state of mind.
You can fall asleep, paint, read, or do anything to experience the moment as it folds. There is no direct guidance thought the process - you are invited to let the music and your mind do the work.
The sessions are improvised and performed live.

As I often play these records alongside newer releases, I realized most of those classics were more than 25 years old, I thought of compiling them together to show where dub tech comes from and how timeless most of these tracks are...Take a record like Round Four, discovered for a lot of people like me on Daniel Bell's mix (2000) The button down mind of Daniel Bell. More than 25 years onwards, you can look at a record like this, alongside Baby Ford and early Ricardo Villalobos as the blueprint for modern minimal and dubby electronic music, but that would imply that those genres later improved upon the overall formula. In reality, few got even close to as good as this. The origins of a genre is often more important than newer releases. Few notes: Sanasol is Yagya (Aðalsteinn Guðmundsson, Thorhallur Skulason aka Thor), Aliens don't boogie was famously used on Richie Hawtin's Deck, efx & 909 in 1999, Parallel 9 is Steve Rachmad famous Dutch electronic musician aka Sterac, Infiniti is Juan Atkins both he and Moritz von Oswald aka Maurizio remixed each other and collaborated many times in the last 30 years. Vainqueur is René Löwe famous from the Chain Reaction label. The B.C. track isn't Basic channel but a moniker which consists of Robert Leiner (Visions of the past) and Cisco Ferreira (The Advent). G-Man, whose productions were way ahead of its time on Force inc is Gez Varley from L.F.O. one half of it (other was Mark Bell), Quadrant is another moniker used by Basic channel, the EP was released in 1993 on R&S records the legendary Belgium label, and later repressed on Carl Craig's Planet E.

A new Toy Tonics EP. It’s the second by Venezuelan house DJ and producer Gee Lane. Including amazing remixes by NYC mainstay musclecars!

Gee Lane’s debut EP Metamorphosis (with remixes by Demi Riquísimo and Divorce From New York Remix & PIEK ) came out last October. 
But as Virginie (her real name) is a steady name of the Toy Tonics crew now and plays almost every weekend at one of the worldwide Toy Tonics Jams, it makes sense to put out a follow up fast.

Gee Lane originally from Caracas, now living in Barcelona, is a passionate DJ and vinyl digger with an extraordinary positive energy and attitude. A DJ diva in a positive way. A unique personality with a very strong style (in music but also as a person) and very elaborated ability to read and play with the dancers. Like the first EP, this one has also been recorded in Barcelona and Berlin with a little help from Robin Braum from Athlete Whippet. The music reflects well on her roots and passion for everything that came out of New York’s dance culture. You can hear influences from the 80ies promo disco scenes as well as the 90ies Body & Soul/ Francois Kervorkian / Joe Claussell universe. In fact, Gee Lane after being raised in Caracas and musically educated by her father from a very early age (a composer and musician), moved to New York at a very young age in the late 90ies, where she fell in love with the HOUSE scene. And especially everything that happened at the famous and influential 'Body & Soul' club. 

This culture increased her curiosity to become a DJ (and vinyl digger herself) who is not just interested in house music but wants to explore other genres such as funk, Hip-Hop, jazz and Latin sounds and include these vibes into her DJ sets. As vinyl collector (and long-time record shop employee) since then, she is known for her musical eclecticism, which leads her to mix everything she wants...

Volpe is an Argentinian artist with more than 10 years of experience behind the booth.He has been at the forefront of the underground electronic scene in Buenos Aires, being a resident in several parties for many years, which have taken him to be presented in the best Techno clubs of the country, sharing gigs with artists like Tadeo, Jonas Kopp, Seph and Andres Zacco.
He managed to edit several of his productions on labels such as Subsist, Detox Electronics, Solemne Records and Al3 Movement, and thanks to his continuous effort he was supported by artists like Ben Sims, Jeroen Search, Zenker Brothers, Slam, Tripeo, Laurent Garnier, Subradeon, Jon Hester, and many others. He is evolving his production skills while he is focusing on his Live Act, in which he chooses the hardware format, providing an organic and powerful sound to his performance.
