Robert Johannsson, known by his stage name Midnight Sessions, is a
german musician, producer, DJ and owner of label Smooth Talk
Music based in Berlin. He combines classic House vibes with jazzy
atmospheres and acid influences. His sound invites the listeners to a
sophisticated time to dance, chill and good drinks. His stage name
summarizes his way of working on new tracks and mixes, which often
arise from nightly music sessions. Robert is also the playlist editor for
the berlin radio station FluxFM, where he lives out his love to other
genre like indie, pop and electronics. So far, Midnight Sessions had
releases & premieres on Smooth Talk Music, Berlin House Music,
FluxFM, Moskalus, Gazzz696, SlothBoogie, Sengiley Recordings &
Premiere TBX.

This week we’ve got 2XM bringing some serious energy to us all with their contribution to the series. Featuring tracks from Paul Sirrell, Vertigini and Dam Swindle, this is a mix that’ll leave you wishing you could teleport yourself to a club. The duo have had a fruitful year with several beautiful releases through various labels from Deep Tape Records to Project Indigo and beyond. They recently dropped ‘Railei, Pt. 2’ alongside Jimmy Rainey, as well as the melodic and timeless EP ‘Fading’ with Scheme via the Russian imprint GLB DOM. Their next project, ‘Floating Desire / Spaces Between’, is coming our way on December 11th through London’s Eton Messy Records.
