For those keeping count, this Winter closes our ninth year releasing Essentials compilation, and this one is our 36th official release. We started this special compilation series back in 2016 with a release for every season of the year. Providing a fresh spin on the artwork every time, each calendar year presents a cohesive world-building storytelling mode and narrative arc. For 2024, our Raccoon returned to the countryside where they grew up and has spent the year catching up with family, reconnecting with old friends, taking plenty of naps, and reflecting on childhood. A time that was so long ago yet feels just like yesterday. Because of this continued narrative, Essentials Winter 2024 has a gaming-heavy visual component and remains steadily reminiscing on the past while also enjoying the present and all of the exciting things to come in the future.
