December 13, 1988 a star was born! Raised by a single mother on the West Side of Chicago Jovon Hill, also known as JHill, was no stranger to the sight of adversities! Though his mother kept him from the troubles of the streets, he had an interest in what was going on! But this interest was not of the norm! Jovon wanted to make a change!
At the age of 12 Jovon knew that he had a passion for lyrical story telling! He knew that he had a story to tell growing up! But with every story there's always a new beginning with a different ending. By the age of 17 his passion for Hip Hop had grown. Surrounded by peers of the same interest, Jovon affiliated himself with the group FUPM. Still unclear of his lane, he kept writing stories continuing his journey. It didn't become clear to him until he picked up and moved to St. Paul, MN, that his role in music would take a tremendous turn. 
Jovon realized that his passion for change needed to be expressed through his music! He started to tap into the hardships amongst himself and others and began a new book, a new chapter within his life; in which he wishes to reach the youth through positive testimonial messages, hoping that our future will see that there is more to life than material matters! He hopes to inspire individuals to crack back into the moral and value life codes of LOVE, LOYALTY, HONOR, and RESPECT!
