Enchufada head honcho Branko really does rack up the air miles on his material. His debut solo album ATLAS arrives on September 4th - the result of a musical pilgrimage across 3 continents, collaborating with 20+ artists at the Red Bull Studios in Amsterdam, Cape Town, New York, Lisbon and São Paulo. That final stop-off saw him buddy up with baile funk superstar MC Bin Laden and nascent tag-team, Marginal Men.

Today we present one of the fruits of that meet up. "Louca" is minimal in its approach; still dressed in Afro-Brazilian pitter-patter and no less sprightly, but drizzled with a near-grime bleakness rather than bleepy pandemonium.

What's more, on September 4th we'll be joining forces with Red Bull São Paulo in celebration of Branko dusting off his LP. Branko, MC Bin Laden and Marginal Men will be joined by local starlet, Viní, for a special broadcast from the centre of Brazil's most populous city. Lisbon-based DJ and producer, Enchufada label head, Red Bull Music Academy alumnus and Buraka Som Sistema co-founder Branko is ready to embark on a whole new adventure. The renowned multifaceted artist went on a sonic journey around the world to connect with some of the most exciting music scenes our there, meeting and collaborating with a new generation of artists to create his debut solo album ‘Atlas’ (out on September 4th). After giving listeners a first taste of his exciting new work with Eventually, the globetrotting producer now invites you to listen to the new track Let Me Go (feat. Nonku Phiri & Mr. Carmack) as the album becomes available to pre-order on iTunes today.

If Eventually paired up compelling global club rhythms with indie vocals, Let Me Go (feat. Nonku Phiri & Mr. Carmack) further expands on this dynamic by allowing Branko’s trademark pop sensibilities to shine through his dancefloor-ready beats. After spending the day with the talented South African singer Nonku Phiri and L.A.-based producer Mr. Carmack at the Red Bull Studios in Cape Town, South Africa, Branko set out to translate this encounter into a song by pushing the limits of the kizomba offshoot we call zouk bass, introducing some much-needed R&B flavor to this thriving genre.

The story of this encounter is translated into an instrumental that reveals lush and dreamy synths dancing around a shuffling 90 BPM beat with an organic feel, built on Branko’s wide-ranging global influences and Mr. Carmack’s unique beatmaking skills, to which Nonku Phiri’s captivating Venda and English vocals add a level of depth and emotion that is further complemented by a bittersweet string arrangement (recorded at Red Bull Studios in New York) - with positively epic results.

Fertil Discos, nóvel sello argentino con sede en Buenos Aires, presenta su más reciente compilación, dividida en dos volúmenes, con sonidos distinguidos en dos etapas del día: “Dia” y “Noche”.  En ellos se pueden apreciar los nuevos pasos de la corriente actual de artistas electrónicos influenciados por los sonidos y ritmos de Latinoamérica.

Fertil discos is a newly born argentinean label, based in Buenos Aires. We are pleased to announce our most recent compilation, divided in two separate albums -one representing the Day, the other gathering Night sounds. Both records illustrate the new steps of the new wave of South America’s electronic artists, influenced by the sounds and rythms of our continent.

The compilation proposes you an ideal soundtrack for sunrises/sunsets on desert islands, drawing inspiration from ancient rhythms, electronic bass lines, and recent productions with a world music mindset.

Both volumes put together danceable songs like “Animal Estrella” (Pol Nada & El Remolón) and “Periferia” (Paisandoom); folktronic compositions like “Tejido” (Jin Yerei feat. Kona); slow techno songs like “Orobon” (Barda) and talented electronic compositions like “Dialogue” (Tomanka) and “Galata” (Santi) among other undiscovered gems.
