It's been almost a year since I posted a mix. I finally had some recent inspiration to create a new one after seeing ISOxo at Hard Summer, and how fun music can be again(That is why there are so many ISOxo songs in this mix). But I am glad to be back!!! 

This mix is shorter than most mixes I have made, but I have come to a realization that shorter higher quality mixes are better than longer unpolished ones. I hope you guys enjoy it!! Since I still feel very rusty with making mixes.

Also, yes the title is inspired by Jujustu Kaisen.

"I grew up in China but the first time I really experienced electronic music and raves was in the United States. I’ve visited China many times since I graduated from college and was really impressed by how receptive the Chinese electronic market was to the “western” dance music and DJs. Locally, I’ve also met so many incredibly talented music producers who are based in China, to name a few: R7CKY, M3ssiah, Z1, etc. Most of them are self-taught through watching YouTube tutorials — meeting them and hearing how they want to represent the new wave of Chinese EDM was really inspiring. I do wish to represent as a female, Chinese-Canadian music producer and hope to bring my own music and show production back to China soon. (recreated my B&M set after what feels like years cause I forgot to hit record that night )

ngl, i was dreading recording this a lil bit bc my dj controller is jank and heavy bass music still sounds like noise </3 not so fun fact: i get ear fatigue easily so I have an on-off relationship with certain types of music

but, listening to the whole thing brought back the adrenaline rush of performing for an audience for the first time + excitement that I got from putting the pieces together n i do kinda miss it

to my friends who came out to see me that night and cheered me on in general - thank you 💖

Welcome to Set #2, in today's recipe we will cut it short but I am mixing more speed, bass and sprinkle with some trap in there. I hope you enjoy this small set I created for you,  and thank you for the support
