We’re excited to introduce Stephan Kain with his debut EP, Lite Hole. This two-tracker marks his first release with Sir Dub Muzik — and it’s a serious one.

“Basement Call” sets the tone with a stripped-back, heavyweight vibe. Echoes drift through a shadowy atmosphere while the sub and percussion lock into a slow, hypnotic march. Raw and immersive.

“Yikes” flips the energy with something a little more unhinged. Sharp hits, scattered FX, and just enough space to let the tension breathe. It’s a proper system track with unpredictable edges.

We’ve had our eyes on Stephan for a while, and it’s a pleasure to share his vision. Pure sound system pressure, no gimmicks.

Traction Control - Mirkwood - SIRDUB009

Sir Dub Muzik proudly welcomes Traction Control to the family with his haunting debut, Mirkwood EP — a two-track descent into dense atmospheres, stealthy subs, and ancient echoes.

Opening with “Nafas”, Traction Control guides the listener through a cavernous mist of meditative breathing, tribal percussion, and dread-soaked basslines. The tune balances hypnotic minimalism with creeping tension, like the slow exhale of something watching from the woods.

On the flip, “Eternal Eye” (a collaboration with I.T.Z) offers a ritualistic counterpoint. Drenched in eerie textures and spectral vocal fragments, the track spirals into mysticism — eyes open, pupils dilated, locked into the unseen.

This release isn’t just music. It’s a passage. A torch-lit journey through the shadows of Mirkwood — where dub’s deepest roots twist into the future.
