What a vibrant collection we have here from the team over at Big Fat Mama Beats, as they assemble their team to deliver a sizzling box of breakbeat remixes, under the 'Big Fat Remixes' title. Opening up, Mr Bristow arrives with the colourful horn flutters and metallic bass stabs of 'Body Roll', which kicks us off in a groovy zone, followed by the almost ska-like drum licks and glittering guitar scats of 'I Want Your Soul' from PulpFusion. From here, Sir-Vere delivers a spacey backdrop of blippy basslines and euphoric horn toots on 'Beneath My Skin', next to Nathan Green, who turns up the pace for the unpredictable percussive switch ups of 'Breakout', before One Dead Jedi arrives for a fiery finale. Boydex is back for his 3rd EP drop on Breakbeat Paradise and he’s brought some friend and an arsenal of funky beats. The Blessing EP features co-productions with the new BBP producer Baxsta as well as veteran beat master Pecoe. All 4 tracks featuring Boydex signature steady rocking beats and groovy guitar hooks and some chilled melodies with Sully Sax laying on the saxophone solos. 

Boydex kicks off the EP with a solid co-production with Melbourne-based producer Baxsta caslled Burning Up which takes a catchy vocal and dips it in some funky soulful breaks production. Moving on with some steady rocking beats and funky slab bass on the Blessings track, which features more catchy vocals and chilled vibes.

Taking it back to the raw funky business while teaming up with Pecoe on the third cut called Move Around before getting busy on the Funky Fresh jam, which also featured on the Christmas Bootleg Bells Vol. 3 that dropped last year.

Sticking with LSM tradition, we are kicking advent off with an exclusive track from multi-award winning music producer, film maker and DJ Rory Hoy. Of course, the original "Everybody Needs a 303" is a track by big beat don Fatboy Slim, released in 1996 as the first single from his legendary album Better Living Through Chemistry. Mr Hoy revamps it for 2020, adding his unique touch, it is funk fueled and dance floor ready.
