Lee Foss’ Repopulate Mars imprint’s next release sees Justin Jay pair up with vocalist Josh Taylor for two infectious house numbers with a collaborative remix from Lee Curtiss and Alex Nazar.

Los Angeles producer Justin Jay has quickly earned his stripes as a reputable producer, with support from the likes of Claude VonStroke, Jamie Jones, Disclosure, Tiga and George Fitzgerald, not to mention being branded as one of Pete Tong’s ‘Future Stars’ – accolades made even more impressive by the fact he’s still in his early twenties. 

Following a string of ‘Justin Jay & Friends’ releases on Black Butter, Freerange and Soul Clap Records, Jay’s next project sees Josh Taylor on vocals and Benny Bridges on the guitar.

“The project came together during my last semester of college. I'd been friends with Josh and Ben since the beginning of school, but with very different tastes in music, it took us awhile to realize we could jam together too. As we made music together I wanted two things: to push myself outside of my comfort area so that I could learn and grow as a musician, and to have fun making music with my friends.” – Justin Jay.

Sturdy kicks and echoing drones lead the way in ‘Make You Mine’ to generate a ominous aesthetic combined with Taylor’s poignant vocals. ‘Climbing Trees’ then raises the energy as a sultry low-end, mesmerizing atmospherics and infectious guitar licks do their work. 

Concluding matters, Visionquest’s Lee Curtiss and Alex Nazar’s remix of ‘Make You Mine’ boosts the tempo of the original, incorporating a heady bassline and trippy synths.

Mariela I'V (born Mariela Janette Ichazo V, May 10) is a model and actress of Bolivian roots, Spanish, Turkish, Italian descent. A talented eccentric method Actress. She has toured in trade shows and modeled for the fashion line Catch A Fire by Cedella Marley(Bob Marley's daughter). The face model for American Apparel new t-shirt line of abstract erotic art, in 2012.

Walked the runway for many fashion and beauty shows such as LA Style Fashion week, Las Vegas Swim Week, Denver fashion week, Comic Con, kika paprika, citron, international south american hair artist Pipa, Imats show for Mehron Cosmetics, Top Bridal Shows, Schwarzkopf, RedKen, Aveda, Alfaparf and Sebastian hair to name a few. She has also modeled for P.Diddy's music video promo of "Love Come Down" and ciroc products in LA.

Growing up in Denver gave her the experience of having a theatre and singing background since a child to adult hood in her University, Metropolitan State University of Denver. She continued her education at AIDA Institute of Hollywood CA.

To date she has been featured on 12 Corazones, Millionaire Matchmaker, Who wants to date a Comedian, Grey's Anatomy, guest appearance on Tom Green show, Actors Reporter and Playboy radio & TV us version and en espanol. International Mun 2, LA TV, loteria and American commercials such as Doritos and Zerran for hair. Lead roles in music videos for the top persian international musicians. Lead, supporting and co-star roles in award winning short films, indie feature films and international films, such as a favorite of Bollywood films. Now she continues to produce along with writing and directing films and montages. Her current first short film that she has produced/directed/written and starred as the lead actress in her film "Tea Time".
