Die Kraft des Fēng Shuǐ

Hinter dem Begriff Fēng Shuǐ verbirgt sich eine daoistische, aus dem alten China stammende Harmonielehre. Das in die westliche Welt importierte Fēng Shuǐ wird vorrangig in der Architektur, sowie für die Raumgestaltung und -einrichtung verwendet. Durch die harmonische Anordnung von Möbeln, Pflanzen und auch Lampen in einem Wohnraum, sollen darin lebende Individuen optimal mit Energie versorgt werden. Das Zentrum eines Raumes bleibt unmöbliert, darf jedoch durch einen Teppich oder eine Lampe betont werden. Liegt der Fokus auf dem Raumzentrum, so wird laut dem Fēng Shuǐ Kraft und Ruhe aus den heimischen vier Wänden angegeben.  
Generalisiert man das Konzept des Fēng Shuǐ erscheint es doch recht Praxis tauglich und gar nicht mehr so esoterisch. Oft sind es unterbewusste Prozesse, welche erst in der Retrospektive als solche gedeutet werden können. Fēng Shuǐ endet jedoch nicht bei der Inneneinrichtung. Ein unaufgeräumtes Zimmer kann störende, bzw. unvorteilhafte Auswirkungen haben. Unordnung bedingt Unproduktivität und Unwohlsein. Schaden wird die Aufmerksamkeit für den eigenen Raum wohl kaum.
