It had been a difficult three years. I was drowned in my frustration, which it turn drained my capacity to feel when I was forced to abandon the piano due to back problems. One day, my heart started beating once more and I had the courage to try again. That is how I started to compose a tune that was adequate to my technical prowess at the time, and that magic, made me feel alive again! That is how I wrote: Feeling Once Again, my new single.

In the blink of an eye I felt an intense passion and profound peace of love and freedom. An experience where everything already  IS but has not yet Begun.  It was there where my heart, using the notes of the piano, found its own voice. Fue un instante como un parpadeo, en el que sentí esa sensación de intensa pasión, de profunda paz, amor y libertad. Una experiencia
donde todo ya es pero aun no comienza.
Fue ahí donde mi corazón a través de los sonidos del piano comenzó a hablar, y con esta Toccata Rock expresó el éxtasis de este incandescente viaje a la intimidad del ser. (Iván Ceja)

An Incandescent Journey. (Toccata In Rock Major)

A little boy once discovered his own reflection in water and marveled observed how his mirrored image changed with every move of this fluid body. His surprise just grew bigger when he discovered the shapes and sounds that the water created on each drop and on each wave. One good day, and out of the blue, a terrible storm came ashore, one could feel the fury on each drop. Our little boy’s first reaction was to hide and seek protection from this rage. It was then, when the boy felt peace and heard a voice saying “I am the water, and you’ll see, each shape I adopt comes from a feeling I feel. If I have decided today to be a storm, it was because I had been still for just too long. Let me break free and express who I am, letting yourself be is the only way to know who you really are, and pick the one reflection that will nurture your life and the life of others”. The boy feeling immense peace asked “who are you?”, and this time he heard right from his heart the answer: “I’m your soul”. This is how the romance of the Child  and the water started.

Un niño miró su reflejo en el agua y admirado quedó cuando se percató como su reflejo cambiaba de forma con el movimiento de esta, niño al fin comenzó a jugar disfrutando de sus diferentes formas, en gotas, en ondas, y se deleitaba con la música que generaba su sonido.  Un buen día sin avisar cayó una gran tormenta, el agua parecía enfurecida, este niño al principio asustado se ocultó y desde su escondite tuvo ese gran momento íntimo en el que escuchó una voz que decía; "Soy  el agua, cada forma que tomo es lo que siento, y si me transformo en tormenta es solo porque estuve estancado mucho tiempo, déjame  libre y permíteme expresarme en todo lo que soy porque así sabrás quien eres y descubrirás el verdadero reflejo que nutrirá tu vida y la de los demás" El niño invadido de una profunda paz preguntó; ¿quien eres? Y esta vez escuchó desde su corazón; SOY TU ALMA.  Y es así como comienza El Romance del Niño y el Agua...

Año 2020, un año difícil, un año de dejar ir, un año donde sentirnos vulnerables puede ser doloroso o un regalo, pues creo que nuestra mirada da un giro a lo que es más importante, como el amor y la empatía por lo mas elemental y más sencillo. Aún así, aveces es difícil dormir, esta noche en particular, no pude dormir, me levanté a tocar, tratando de expresar lo que sentía en ese momento y decidí grabarlo. Silent Night

Ivan Ceja: 

Composer, pianist, keyboardist and producer. He began his self-taught musical journey at the early age of 6. At the age of 17 he formalised his training in piano studies, composition, orchestration, gregorian, orchestral conduction and professional audio. At the same time he began participating in as many bands as he could encompassing styles like jazz, rock and latin amongst others with the firm conviction of mastering as many genres as possible and creating his own musical language merging his influences. This led him to work on soundtracks for film and television at a very early age, and a producer of a great many projects. 

Iván Ceja: 

Compositor, pianista, tecladista y productor. Después de comenzar en la música de manera autodidacta a la edad de 6 años. A la edad de 17 años comienza sus estudios musicales profesionales estudiando piano, composición por estilos, orquestación, gregoriano, dirección y audio. Al mismo tiempo, comienza a participar en varias agrupaciones tocando diferentes estilos como jazz, rock, latin, con la mas firme convicción de dominar los mas estilos posibles y llevar todos estos conocimientos a la música sinfónica, creando su propio lenguaje de composición y fusionando influencias(crossover). Esto lo llevo a la creación de soundtracks para imágenes desde muy corta edad, así como participar como músico de sesión y productor de gran cantidad de proyectos.
