The Covid variant, “Omicron” to me sounds like something out of a sci-fi movie, so here is my musical interpretation of this variant that appeared just as most countries are starting to ease restrictions and thought they had control of the virus. I wanted it to sound like a sci-fi movie soundtrack.

Return To Wonderland

I wrote this song for an idea of a musical inspired by the Chinese folklore of The Butterfly Lovers, which tells the story of two forbidden lovers, separated by fate, who in death were transformed into a pair of butterflies.
