Originally hailing from Sacremento (California, USA) and currently based in Salt Lake City (Utah, USA), Donny Carr made his first mark in the scene through his remixes of Jerome Isma-Ae and Alastor's "Kubrick" and "Fiction" on Jerome's "Jee Productions" in early 2018. With 'Indigo' we welcome Jack Lazarus for his debut on ICONYC Noir. Jack delivers a lovely progressive and melodic techno influenced track, which is easily his best body of work to date in our opinion.

The original mix features rich driving textures; as well as euphoric and moody progressive melodic techno vibes to satisfy clubbing, uplifting and feel good needs, which are the keywords for this beautiful and extraordinary release. Utilizing a hypnotizing groove as the basis of the mix underpinned by a loaded bass that gradually eases its way to the breakdown of breaks percussive elements before unleashing into a rising melodic hook intertwined with the infectious groove that fades in and out for maximum effect. A sure winner from Jack.

English maestro Four Candles returns to ICONYC Noir with a gem of a remix. His dance floor-oriented rework grabs you from the word go. Interspersing filtered stabs and a stunning groove which beautifully leads into a drop full of tension and excitement are the name of the game. The understated yet driving bassline powers the groove along, as Four Candles keeps the energy up, allowing the driving melodic house feel to shine thru over the many layers and textures to create a beautiful soundscape to round off this classy underground crowd pleaser. Ivan Nikusev also known as Kandar, is a Macedonian producer and label manager, who defines himself as а DJ of the old school sound of Progressive House music. Deep and strong bass lines, combined with melodic and techno elements, are something what you can hear in his sets. In 2011 he founded his own label OLD SQL Recordings, which got a huge support by many great producers and top DJs in the world, and since then it has released more than 700 releases and has more than 900 different artists.

With his experience as a radio DJ since 2006, with podcast shows and guest sets on many radio stations from all over the world, he also started sharing his energy and good music with the people on the dance floors. He has played in many clubs and festivals in his own country but also and abroad in different venues in Greece, Bulgaria, Bosnia, USA, Czech Republic, Kosovo, Turkey...

His tracks have been played and supported internationally by so many major DJs, and also more than a hundred producers have made a remix on some of his tracks, or had any other collaboration with him, which proves his quality of music over the years.
