 Ivana Parnasso is an Italian artist devoted to the world of art, not only a music composer, but also sculptor and painter. 
She grow up in a family where music and art inspiration are constantly experienced. 
Thanks to her father drummer she living in a world of notes and harmonies since from child, absorbing sounds that would come to influence her artistic career.
Percussionist and composer also equipped with a fine voice, begins her first steps in music at the age of 18, playing drums and percussions in various groups, experiencing genres such as Bossa Nova and Funk.
As composer, her music has an elegant approach to a mix of genres related with each other, the musical influences found in her compositions have a taste of Bossa Nova, Funk, Soul Jazz, referencing Lounge/Chillout with great taste and seventies nostalgia. 
Her debut in the world of music is the album "Pick!" (2010, Sobra) the first album had great positive feedback throughout Europe bringing to public attention the music of the talented Italian artist. 
Her great second album "Spirograph" (2012, Irma) is a mixture of Bossa Nova, Funk and Jazz well balanced to create an elegant atmosphere of special blend lounge music.
In 2014 It's the time of the fascinating third album "Episode 3" again on Sobra recordings, that include many Cinematic sound landscapes.
In July of 2018, she produced two singles with oriental reminiscences, were published in two separated compilations distributed by Halidon music Publishing.
After a long break, in 2023 she come back to Irma Records label, producing new music compositions, like her latest singles Mystery Action and Sicilian Mission including both Cinematic seventies reminiscences, waiting her forthcoming new album.
