The Other Day

I was born in Brescia on the third of October, 1974.

I write and publish poems and piano music. I made all the published tracks myself.

“Between winter and paradise” was written by Fátima Rocío Peralta García. I also contributed to the creation of an Akkuaria anthology.

In particular, I was awarded third prize ex aequo at the first annual “Tribute to Emilio Greco” Literary Award on 18 December, 2010, in Catania and at the International Competition of Poetry, Prose, Figurative Arts La Finestra Eterea, I received 2nd place for both single poem of the 2015 edition and the 2017 Lilith edition, and 4th place in the 2019 edition for Carillon.

On 24 November 2018 in Forte dei Marmi, I received a diploma of honour with mention of commendation for Lilith and the single poem “Canzone” at the International “Buonarroti” Awards – 4th Edition; in the next edition, on November 30, 2019, I received the Poetry Prize for kids for Carillon.

For Carillon, again, on November 24, 2019, I received the Premio Leandro Polverini 1st place in the dream poetry category with the following reasons:

the entire collection is traversed by a happy tension towards the good, terrestrially consisting in the friction exerted by the living descending towards that ineluctable and always imminent future, which obeys entropic law. In the texts, phonic influences run and intertwine, the beyond-sky and beyond-time that offer us much more than an extraordinary expressive ability of the Brescian author and his evident predisposition in capturing dreamlike, subtle, and mysterious sensations.

In 2014, I conceived and organized the first annual International Literary Contest POESIE NEL PAGO DELLA MITRIA as a perfect way to rediscover the beauty inherent in every human heart by visiting a sacred place.

Poetry represents one of the ways of going deep into the very essence of ourselves while dwelling on everyday experience, and thanks as well to receiving daily feedback from other people.
