I discovered this song via Joe Pera Talks With You and got obsessed with the beauty of the thing. It's a great song about escape so I decided to make a pretty faithful Drifters cover of it during this pandemic.

Up On The Roof (cover)

another cover done during the pandemic. Very much a deep cut and much more musically challenging and therefore not as tight as "up on the roof". I was trying to replicate the production as much as I could, but it got to be way too laborious that I started regretting making it in the first place!  So like any musically project, I declared it "good as is" and here ya go. Kayla is a guest vocalist on this as well as lots of spoken bits from notable people (and notable cats) affected and thrown all over the place. Bless this sonic mess and enjoy!
