Hip-Hop recording artist Ademola Josef Okunoye, otherwise known under his stage moniker "Josef, The Great," (and an even more interesting producer name "Iversity Joe") is an NYC-based American Rapper, Singer, Producer, & Mixer of unique sounds. His debut project "The Before" is comprised of a blend of Electronica, Future-Bass, Trap, & Soul. He began with spoken word poetry as a teenager and was frequently involved in Hip-Hop cyphers. His pursuit of musical craftsmanship heightened after college, as he attended Florida A&M University.

Known for selecting very unique, rich, deep & full sounds, instruments, soundbites, and samples - some even echoing those by the god-like producers of Soulection - He crafts thematic, semi- atmospheric songs with a level of lyricism close to, if not on par with, some top-level lyrical artists today. In his debut mixtape you'll hear full production and samples from artists like: C Y G N Aru-2, & Samiyam - as well as his own

He is currently working on a new series of songs, as well as 2 upcoming - and long delayed - projects to be released Spring & Summer of 2022
