After a busy start to 2014 with 'Reckless Ardor' still riding high in the top 10 of the Beatport Deep House Chart and a massive remix of Calippo's 'Back There', EDX is back with his follow up 'Cool You Off' released through - on 7th April 2014. 

Exploring different genres within the electronic music landscape for 'Cool You Off', EDX creates an uplifting melody and funky drum beat with soft vocal samples, that's as infectious as it is cool. Skirting the line between deep house and progressive house, 'Cool You Off' looks set to rival the success of 'Reckless Ardour'. 

Over the past few years, EDX aka Maurizio Colella has made a name for himself in the international dance music scene, headlining the world’s finest clubs and festivals to crowds in excess of 60,000 – from Miami to Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York,  all the way to Sydney. 

Starting 2014 at the top of the Beatport charts with his deep house single, 'Reckless Ardor', and his highly anticipated 'Miami Sunset' remix of Avicii’s 'Wake Me Up', EDX remains as a prominent, influential force in dance music releasing some of the most in demand tracks of the moment.

Martin Alejandro Oviedo moves between city-light introspection and floor-ready release—“All or Nothing” sets the tone; “Forbidden Grove” (La La Na Mix) slips in an earworm chant; “Cultura Oroku” and its Tribal Mix add hand-drums and wood hits; “Vinyl Nights (122 bpm)” rides classic swing; “Movimiento Robótico (Vocoder FX)” sprinkles machine soul. Crafted with a modern palette and a love for vintage drum-machine character, these tracks aim for elegance over excess—music for lights low, hearts open, and feet in motion.
