I was riding on a train and got a seat facing the end of the cabinet when it moved.  It was nearly six pm and when I looked out of the window, the sunset seemed to be moving away from me.   That scene actually inspired this song.

Update: Well another AA competition down...maybe next year!  Hope you had some fun and certainly creating music is a reward all by itself!

Opened my email Saturday morning and lo and behold in my inbox was an invitation to join this years Adam Audio Competition. 

This years picture had this impending feel.  An event is pending for these two...and from the looks on the faces, it felt like some stress was on its way too.  

Welcome to my entry into the fray, to win a beautiful pair of custom Adam Audio A8X.  

This project is a huge departure from my normal production methods and is truly the first time where I can say this is a Tainted Icarus engineered project. Shredded the rule book and used the knowledge to pursue the desired sound.

This song written by the hugely talented Jesse Winchester. I emailed him asking for the lyrics as they were almost unintelligible on the album  He's said the lyrics were in a drawer somewhere & he would dig them out. Sadly he died before that happened so I just made up the missing parts. 

Couldn't've done it without the help of the fabulous 'Border Band'.  Jesse hope you don't  mind me meddling with one of ya toons.
