Fun Facts:
* This song is in the key of A minor.
* During the recording of the sax part, Row played a fabulous blort which caused much giggling and can be heard as a bonus track and on the ‘out-takes and blorts’ page at Wud Records.
* Unfortunately much of the giggling cannot be heard.
* This was the very first Dark Company song that was completed.
* It received highly positive critical acclaim from the Guild of International Songwriters and Composers.
* Due to unfamiliarity with the gear, the DBX on the TSR-8 was switched off for the recording, causing a most horrendous amount of hiss.
* The red LED meant the DBX was 'off', not 'on'.
* This was later fixed with cunning use of gates and aural exciters.
* Killer was written in August 1991 and is 110 BPM.
* The guitars were recorded straight into the desk rather than using an amplifier.
* Killer was the first single released by Dark Company from the Signmaker album.
* It was backed with Second Sight and the digital remix of Killer.
* If you listen carefully to Second Sight, you can hear a little ploppy guitar line running through the song here and there, similar to the ones in Killer.

62nd Love Affair (a Spinner Quickie Production)

a relaxing improvisation with a keybord, a drumset and some noise.

I recorded this, when I was fourteen years old, using a cheap keyboard, my e-drums, myself and a freeware program to try out some sound experiments.
The whole tune is very simple and perhaps a little bit to repetitive and my ability of playing rythms on drums in an exact was on a very low level back then. However, this was the first track I made, other people except myself were able to enjoy.

Emission

A small experiment in phase. Modulating the step length of a sequencer with a sinewave. You'll hear the pattern getting shorter, then longer, then shorter, then longer, etc. Interesting, but it sure doesn't go anywhere.

Anarchy in the UK

Formed in the summer of 2013 IX has its roots in a friendship that dates all the way back to the 1980s, a decade that has a clear influence on their music today.

Their long term plans to put aside commercial ambition in favour of building a body of recorded works, and growing a reputation as champions of electronic music production without falling into the dance music category, seems to fly in the face of convention.

With a core membership of just two, IX intend to draft in additional musicians, vocalists, and song writing collaborators of interest as they expand their catalogue of releases.

Taking inspiration from eclectic sources such as vintage TV / movies, science fiction writing and pretty much all genres of music, IX aim to produce polished musical works that interest and intrigue while defying normal genre comparisons.

Their albums "System VII", "7302", "6EQUJ5" and "Actual" are out now on Bandcamp, iTunes, Google Play, Spotify and all good online distributors.

IX reside and record in Essex UK.
