This song Kano Kano is from the Yawanawa tribe of the Brazilian Amazon who have touched my heart deeply with their medicine.

It is a song to call the tribe together to unify and walk together.  A calling that is much needed in these times as we are so much more powerful when we are united. 

It is sung by our tribe in Costa Rica at a Loveolution Cacao Ceremony in the new temple space at our ecovillage Yacumama (www.yacumama.love)with a prayer to unify in a field of love.  May it lift your heart with the knowing that as we stand strong together love wins!

This song is a prayer for us to remember our true nature that is infinite, beyond time and space. A prayer for us to remember that there is nothing to heal, only to remember our perfection, our divinity. A prayer for the dissolution of the illusion of separation and the return to oneness.

Many of my songs include a mantra with lyrics in english that are my interpretation of the essence of the mantra.  This song includes a mantra in Gurmukhi which is the language of the Sikh and the Kundalini Yoga lineage - Aad Guray Nameh, Jugaad Guray Nameh, Sat Guray Nameh, Siri Guru Dayvay Nameh. The English meaning of this mantra is - I bow to the Primal Wisdom, I bow to the Wisdom through the Ages, I bow to the True Wisdom, I bow to the great, unseen Wisdom.

This mantra is pure magic - I was doing a 40 day journey with this mantra at the time I conceived my son Kavi, around 12 years ago.  We would rise to watch the sunrise over the ocean in Maui while chanting the mantra every morning for 40 days and over that time so much magic came into my life! I pray that it brings some magic into your life :)

Aad Guray Namay

This song is a love song, not only to your beloved, but to THE BELOVED that lives in the hearts of everyone and everything.  I received it in 2012 when the portal of songs really opened for me. With all the love and support of so many dear friends around me at the time, it felt as if our love was growing to the mountains, and flowing to the sea and spreading to all beings.  That is the prayer - for all beings to awaken to the power of our hearts, and be more generous with our love!

Many of my songs include a mantra with lyrics in english that are my interpretation of the essence of the mantra. Babanam Kevalam is a Sanskrit mantra. Baba - beloved, nam - name and kevalam - only. It means literally "only the name of the beloved, but can mean love is everywhere and is the essence of everything.

I received this simple song a few years ago in the Sacred Valley of Peru right after I got my first charango (10 stringed instrument from Bolivia in this song.) The lyrics are in Quechua, the magical tongue of the Andes mountains.  It is a prayer for the balance of the masculine & feminine forces, a song of gratitude (Urpillay Sonqollay)for Pachamama, our beloved Earth Mother, Pacha Kamaq the masculine creative force, the sky father of Taita Inti, our sun, and Mama Killa, our grandmother moon.

This song is a prayer for Ganesha to illuminate the ways we are holding ourselves back and to see the obstacles that our ego/mind has created to keep us small.  Thank you Ganesha for providing refuge in truth and oneness, for helping us to clear the way and be liberated from our negative thought forms! May we all shine in our fullest glory!

Ganesha is the elephant-headed god, son of Shiva and Parvati, the remover of obstacles  Ganesha is always invoked at the beginning of any endeavor.  Sharanam means refuge, protection.

Gan Gan is part of the bija, or seed mantra of Ganesh. This core sound doesn't carry discursive meaning. Bija mantra are said to contain the essence of the deity. I seek refuge in Ganesha. Please protect me, oh great Elephant.

This is a mantra for the Divine Mother embodied so fully in Amma- Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi. The first time I went to see Amma I was a bit weary of gurus.  When I came within 50 meters of her I started crying uncontrollably, taken over completely by her forcefield of LOVE.  I had never been around a being so pure.  

Although I have not spent much time in her physical presence, I feel she is always with me.  Sometimes she comes to me and gives me transmissions.  One of the most powerful ones was when she came to show me how to draw upon the endless wellspring of shakti while I was on the dance floor at Beloved festival.  Once again, I was crying uncontrollably and my entire body was vibrating, shaking...it felt as if I had just been struck by lightening! 

She shows us how to live a life of service and that it is possible to give that powerful transmission of the presence of the divine mother to everyone we come into contact with simply by drawing upon the endless wellspring of shakti... Filling our cups until they are overflowing and can effortlessly take care of everything we need to in our lives. 

I pray to be as generous as Amma with my love!  Thank you Amma for being such an inspiration, a true guru, I am forever grateful!

Spirit of the waters ~ Thank you for this life, for without you there would be no life.  Thank you for every single cell of water inside of our bodies vibrating with the primordial purity of the original waters, holding all the wisdom of the ages.  May we remember that every molecule of water inside of us is listening, and bless ourselves with good energy in a good way every day.  

Thank you for your crystal clear purity and transparency, for how you flow with grace, trust and deep knowing, never questioning the way, simply following the path of least resistance.  We are so grateful for our watery emotions, for the opportunity to feel deeply, to offer our tears of joy and sadness from the depths of our hearts.  May our emotions be pure, our hearts be clear and free of any need to manipulate or control, completely transparent as you with nothing to hide, no hidden agenda.  May we allow life to do us, flow like a river, stop swimming upstream toward our ideas of how things are supposed to be and accept everything that comes our way as it is, as perfection.

Bless all the holy springs bringing us the wisdom of the grandmother rocks & sacred mountains.  May all beings know the deliciousness of drinking directly from the breast of pachamama, from the crystal springs & streams bubbling up from the earth’s dreams. To all the people waging wars over control of water, may you remember that there is abundance for all beings.  May we release scarcity consciousness and the desire to hoard and keep the energy flowing by giving what we wish to receive, and then giving some more, as generous as the life giving waters.  May our children tell stories of the days when people used to think they could own water and bought water out of plastic bottles!

To all women, for the life giving waters of the womb, thank you for growing and nurturing the miracle of life, for holding us in unconditional love!  May all women gather in red tents on the new moon, celebrating the blessing of cleansing with each moon cycle, restoring the cycles of harmony and balance on planet earth with an offering of their blood to the earth.  May young women be initiated in a ceremonial rite of passage to the blood mysteries & celebrated for the life giving goddesses they have become with their first moon cycle. 

May the rivers, the veins of pachamama, and all the sweet waters continue to flow pure, back to great grandmother ocean from where we all came.   Thank you for the invigorating thrill of jumping into cold sweet water, waking up all of our cells, alive with remembrance.  Thank you to the powerful waves of the ocean, for humbling us with your force and rebirthing us each time we are blessed to float in your vastness. We believe that when enough of us increase and maintain our vibration and consciousness to a frequency higher than nuclear & toxic waste, oils spills and fracking, to a vibration where these things cannot exist, that all the waters and the lands will return to primordial purity in an instant. Loveolution Sensual Dance

Ecstatic Dance portion of a Loveolution Cacao Ceremony live at the Yoga Barn in Bali.  The evening was a fundraiser for the people in Lombok who lost their homes after the August earthquake. We opened the event with a medicine wheel ritual, flowed into a yoga warm up, then into this dance, a closing meditation (I took the intro and outro songs out of this set because the volume was turned down low with me talking over it). We finished with an amazing singing circle with an all star family band singing as one love, one heart, one tribe, one spirit one family! <3

Loveolution Cacao Cermony Yoga Barn Bali

Ecstatic dance set from our Loveolution Cacao Ceremony at Akasha/New Earth in Bali. The ceremony was in connection with the 1 Million Meditators global event on December 1st where people all over the world were meditating for peace with the intention to spread a ring of love and coherence around the planet.  We open our ceremonies with a medicine wheel ritual, prayer, songs, ecstatic dance and then a singing circle with a full family band.  The energy on this night was electric! Hearts were blasted wide open and we remembered the joy of being fully alive!

Below is my suggestion on how to restore balance and harmony with the people in our lives:

Ho' o Pono Pono Ritual

We can use this beautiful Hawaiian ritual to bring everything back into right relationship or a place of integrity with all of our relations.

It can be done by calling a person in your life into your awareness, sending them loving energy and going through the process below.

It is far more powerful and effective to have a conversation, ideally in person, alternatively on the phone with someone close to your heart.

Start with the people you may have the most to clear with - your parents, siblings, partner, ex-partners, children and move onto friends. 

The translation of the Hawaiian Mantra is:

I'm so sorry, please forgive me, I love you and thank you, Ho' o Pono Pono, Ho' o Pono Pono.

Begin with an apology for a few specific things you feel you could have done with more love, care and integrity. 

Acknowledge how it may have made them feel with full empathy and compassion. 

Give them space to express.

Listen with your full heart.

Notice if the desire to defend yourself arises and continue to breathe into your heart.

Express how much they mean to you, how much you love them and how grateful you are for their presence in your life. 

Acknowledge a few specific things about them personally or how they have shown up and thank them.

Close with a hug and feel how gratitude and forgiveness have opened your hearts and created a deeper sense of intimacy.
