Izel Jamez is a Rapper & Producer from Sydney, Australia. Izel operates across a multitude of subgenres within Hip-Hop from colourful Melodic Rap to spacey Psychedelic Trap and even variations of UK TrapWave and Grime. Izel stays true to his creative expression without confining himself to one style, allowing him to stand out as an artist and bring a new sound to Australian Hip-Hop.
His debut project ‘Euphoria’ was released in February 2023 and has since amassed over 80,000 streams independently. Taking you on a journey from his years spent in London back to his home in Sydney, Izel creates a unique sound blending styles of Travis Scott, M Huncho and Skepta to bring you into his world and give you your own sense of Euphoria.
At 22 Izel moved to London where he would live for 3 years, immersed in UK culture and finding further musical influence from the rap scene. It was during this time that he would finally follow his passion and begin his own journey as an artist.
Working from a desk inside his bedroom cupboard, Izel began by teaching himself how to produce before eventually rapping over his own beats. Izel returned to Sydney before finishing and releasing his first album 'Euphoria' in February 2023, preceded by the well received release of multiple singles. Izel created every aspect of the project himself from the production, performance, recording, mixing, artworks and visuals, making ‘Euphoria’ the perfect showcase of his years of learning and development as an artist.
