A Italo Disco song I recently did a remix edit on, found from a Italo Disco spotify playlist. Had this jam on repeat and brainstormed ideas for remixing this one, and came up with a good short edit of this song from the original album mix "For You". Today (April 28th, 2023) marks 2 years since i’ve started DJing and i wanted to celebrate it, also being the first time 2 years ago that i’ve released a full mix concerning a specific genere rather than just Neon Indian and the tracks included in Alan’s one and only italo-disco dj mix. So to celebrate 2 years, here’s the 3rd volume mix of my picks of “Italo-Disco” with my current Dj skills. Last year (2022) with volume 2 i was a bit late but not this time hehe! And i know what you’re thinking, yeah yeah more Italo yeah i get it bro… But hear me out here. YES this is technically “Italo-Disco” but more leaning on the Italiano side and the classic electronic disco and housy vibe, new and old rarities Made In Italy with the exception of one track made by a German producer but with a Italian star singing in it from the 80s. Not too much trashy typical Italo-Disco. Italo Funk, Italo house, mixed for your ears! w/ some Italian written lyrics.

Italo Disco Mix Vol. 3 (Mix speciale - 2023)

A new remix of Pink Rhythm's gem cut "More and More" from their 12" EP called "India", going all the way back to 1985.  An Extended Remix, extending the pure jazz, synth-funk of this song complimenting the instrumental and lyrics all in one mix. A also more suitable mix for DJs alike to use in their sets! Enjoy!

Rare early 80s french boogie/synth-pop record from 1984 released on a 12" maxi-single. Now remixed and remastered by me, source ripped from my own copy of the vinyl record. Great post-disco beat and balearic vibe, lyrics kinda cheesy but sublime! Written by French pianist Michel Bernholc. Discovered this gem thanks to Alan Palomo!

Micky Milan - L'illusion (SNY DJ Edit)

DJ Izique Mixes (fka Izaaculate Mixes) returns with a new mixtape, finally compiling one of his favorite French Boogie records from a bygone era of records that are well known and not so much. While also highlighting the very beginnings of the French Hip-hop/rap scene in France, with artists coming out like Chagrin d'amour, Elegance, Joel Ferrati and the first Arabic rapper Shams Dinn. Take on the journey during the birth of 80s french rap/hip-hop, and the rise of boogie/disco funk infused french tracks. This mixtape is his Declaration of love to France, and the French Music that has changed his life, from America to France. Selections and name inspired by the French Boogie compilations entitled "France chébran" by Born Bad Records. France chébran is a name for the musical movement of Boogie/Funk and Soul and Rap in the 1980s era in France, the word chébran is a french slang for "trendy" or "hip". It's another cool way for saying it instead of the traditional "branché", which is the same thing but it's flipped.

All tracks are in French with a hint of English, except for Track 2 which is a Arabic rap. It is still included because the record comes from France and had a big influence during the French Rap scene, Shams Dinn being a Moroccan guy living in France in the 1980s. 

All from 1980 - 1988, except for the intro song which is a newer French rap by Jwles and Mad Rey. But still a old school sound that pays tribute to these records.

Shams Dinn, who is a Moroccan that raps in Arabic, right in the middle of the early hip-hop scene in France during the late 80s. Being the first arabic rapper, and had a one hit wonder in France and Europe.
