Naomie Klaus est une productrice de musique et chanteuse française, basée à Bruxelles. Se considérant comme une actrice ratée, elle construit sa musique sous forme d’histoires et de micro-séquences dans lesquelles elle s’amuse à interpréter différents personnages avec sa voix. Elle évoque un conte de fées pour adultes, où les princesses que l’on rencontre sont des nymphomanes hystériques, armées et mal habillées.

Since Léo has the particularity of smoking everything by the root, we decided to make a premiere after the official release of OGMA's first album, an adventure combining Léo Gouren's offbeat touch and the musical mischief of... once again, Guillaume Lespinasse. Recorded in Mars, the native village of one of the two companions, the final opus is an ode to chewed tobacco, the smell of dung, faded white marcels and the overheated bread oven. The Blanket Jeez decided to emphasize the song halfway through the album, a blues that smells of hay and great banjo playing.

Galica, the northwest region of the Iberian peninsula where dramatic cliffs cradle the wild Atlantic and here between the rocks of solitude there is a romantic spirit far from the prosaic order of elsewhere. The people share a deep connection with the land and sea which is inherent in their sound, a music of great strength with an intimacy that oscillates between dream and the reality. 

The majority of the recordings selected are from the post Franco era when social conditions relaxed and along with the peoples spirits, creative freedom soared. Music was created to defend the Galician language which was suppressed during the regime and viewed as a degenerate form of Spanish; contrary to when it flourished during the medieval period when there was rich tradition of Galician as a lyrical language. It is suggested that it was the first language used for literary purposes. Alonso X's Cantigas de Santa Maria a collection of 420 poems with musical notation written during 1221 and 1284 are a testimony to this. 

Muniera, the most characteristic Galician rhythm is distinguished by the tempo of 6/8 and played expressive and lively. The Gaita's(bagpipes)are a key element in the music and have ancient Celtic roots. Alalá, the most primitive musical form in Galician folklore was recovered by musicians and poets of the romantic(Rexurdimento)era. During this time an awakening of Galician identity occurred with notable figures such as Rosalie De Castro, Curros Enríquez and Eduardo Ponda writing lyrics and re-adaptions for traditional forms. Rosalie De Castro the author of "Cantares Galegos“(17/05/1863) was an ardent defender of women rights and the Galician language who actively fought against authoritarian abuse. A sense of persistence prevails in her poems with a refusal to accept false comforts, she inflicts a dose of sorrow without dilution, but also without bitterness.

'The arrithmic chants of the alala are based on a single short theme that repeats its melodic intention several times, usually separated by some instrumental phrases played with the gaita or sung without words. Melodies of alalas are usually diatonic, and based on a continuous drone. The progressive adaptation of alalas to polyphony, by choral ensembles, imposed them modern characteristics, like harmonization and transcriptions into 2/4 or 3/4 tempo or combinations of both. The real melody of the chant is formed by the repetition of all its notes. The first cadence is also the final one, ending in a coda that is enlarged and faded as a sustained and undefined sound. This fact appears to be a very special characteristic of alalas.'

Some say Gregorian chant had a huge influence on the music in the middle ages via the masses of pilgrims who came to Santiago. The musics effect is however greater than the religion that informed it, as the people adopted and modified what was heard in monastries to reflect their lives as workers of the land. 
The music also encompasses a nostalgic sentiment or morriña, a yearning for a love that you are kept away from or that is taken away. Huge migration in the 19th and 20th century saw hundreds of thousands move from impoverished Galicia to The America's.
