Izik 5(pronounced Isaac) is a Contemporary Christian Music Recording group of five siblings compelled to unite the nations through their music and mission of “One Family” whose names are: Terngu, Timothy “Mas.T”, Sarah, Naomi and Jerry “Daddy J”

In just two years since arriving the U.S from their birth place in the African country of Nigeria, the message of “One Family” has been so profound that they were invited to be on the Largest Christian TV Network in the world, the Trinity Broadcasting Network and taped four shows for their JCTV Youth Programming which reached an audience of 15million people in the U.S in 2012. They also performed at Los Angeles, California’s largest urban street festival, “Taste of Soul 2011”, which was attended by over 250,000 people. And have also sung before Gospel Music legend Andrea Crouch. For three years in a row since 2011, they have been invited to play at San Pedro, California’s largest Christian music event “Light at the Lighthouse Festival” which attracts an attendance of thousands. In addition to reaching the masses they have been invited to perform at some of the countries most noted ministries and churches as well as inner city schools. Izik 5 was a thriving force and the primary entertainment for Relief Network Ministries in Houston Texas in support of “World Water Day 2011” to end scarcity among the poor and needy in Africa. Izik 5 were also the only music Group from Africa selected to attend the 2010 Gospel Music Association’s official music training and talent hunt competition called Immerse.

In addition to rave reviews of their debut album in 2009 by African fans, the group received a personal letter from the American Ambassador to Nigeria Robin Renee Sanders congratulating them on the release and success of “Kiss of Heaven”. The video of the lead single “I Can See Clearly”’ off their debut album “Kiss of Heaven” reached the Top of the charts on One Gospel for many weeks which is the largest gospel music channel in Africa as well as receiving continuous airtime on channel O which is Africa’s first mainstream music video channel . Collectively these channels have over 100 million viewers.

Their journey into music started from very small and humble beginnings in a small city called Gboko in the West African Country of Nigeria. They learnt how to sing and play musical instruments at an early age in their father's church located in this small city. Both parents Pastor Isaac and Eunice Ornguze who are also singers, influenced them greatly by bringing lots of music into their home as they were growing up. Thereafter, they travelled around locally singing in remote villages, churches and small events such as weddings, dinners to large outdoor meetings and special events for the elite in the society like Governors and Royal leaders. In 2003, the group was privileged to sing before 60,000 and have performed at many events in the Southeast Asian countries of Singapore and Malaysia.
