Tribute to Ace Closer. His full name is Kazuhisa Hirota and he's known Japanese Handz-Up/Trance Producer under Spiral Dirt, Floorbreaker and Cannon Cracker. He's known for his collaboration works with DJ TEN since mid-2005. Kazu and DJ TEN have founded LADY BiRD in 2007, although the success wasn't sustainable till the beginning of 2010s. Kazu have joined the force with DJ Daiki to create cover tracks of famous Rnb and EDM songs since 2010. In mid-2010s, he founded his own studio company "Studio Strike Zone", where he produces EDM for Samurai Noise, DJ DAIKI, Tokyo Dance Kontrol and more.

Before he became famous he used to make music under "Xtlaview" and "DJ Kz" since he started uploading his songs from mid-2002 to early-2004 on indie music website called "muzie.co.jp". His first collaboration with 4 Skips was "Heavens Wire - Spike (DJ Kz vs. Heavens Wire Original Mix)" and it was released on "Prizm" the album by Heaven Wire in May 2004. The Future Gate Bootleg mix of "Spike" was released under exit tunes in late-2006.

Ace Closer Tribute Mix

Tribute to 4 Skips. His full name is Shohei Matsumoto and he's known Japanese Handz-Up/Trance producer under his pseudonyms Bazooka, Betty Blue, Big Kiss, Dank-One, Heavens Wire, Sham-Poo, Shohei Matsumoto, SP Show☆Hey? and Tokyo Rave Crew (TRC).

He released his full album "Heavens & Hells - THE BATTLE ROYAL," a collaboration with 13 of Japan's top creators, including DJ UTO, TORA, KOUSUKE, and DRAGON. He has provided music for the "SUPER★BEST TRANCE" compilation CD series, the "TRANCE PARADISE" series, and others, and has also released songs for the "BOM FIM DE SEMANA! (HAVE A NICE WEEKEND!) VOL. 2 and "THE BEST OF MENTAL MADNESS", for which he also handled non-stop mixing and mastering. 

As a role of composer, he has provided music for the "TRANCE RAVE" series, "Buchiage Trance" series, and "PSYCHEDELIC RAVE" series. He also arranged music for idol Nao Nagasawa's "Love Body" as a J-POP artist. 

After his last handz up productions in 2010, he moved to EDM and Jpop productions, where he did lot of remixes, songwritings and productions. By 2015, he decided to take a break from making music to focus on his personal life. No one knows whenever he comes back.

4 Skips Tribute Mix

Kousuke Okamoto, also known as Oriental Space, Wonderland, Gigabreak and DJ Kousuke
He's been around releasing his first music since 2001. He signed few Giga Break productions "You Were Mine", "Walk On By", "Last Night Change It All" and "Fighting Anthem" to U.N.I.T.Y Records. 

After his house music production, he changed his genre to trance where he signed to Avex Trax and Farm Records in 2002. For Avex, he submitted remixes for jpop groups like MAX, Wi☆th, Ayumi Hamasaki and then his production of "Tiger Trance - 阪神タイガースの歌 (六甲おろし)"

For Farm Records his very first album "Greed Island" was released on 9th September 2002. His famous piece of arrangement "Laputa" has won the 1st place on ZIP FM's "DANCE HITS" and "BEAT FREAK" and Nippon TV's "Tokyo Club Gang. The sales of this album was assessed approximately 30k copies. After that He released the rest of albums ALEXANDRITE, PLATINUM, COCONUTS and LAST ECSTASY after his first album from 2003 to 2005. Not to mention is that SCOPRION, COCONUTS, ALEXANDRITE, LAST ECSTASY "MAGICAL EXPRESS" are still famous japanese trance songs that are being jammed by his loyal fans. 

In 2004, he made his first debuts "STELLA" and "BOYS AND GIRLS" under DJ Kousuke, where it was signed to Victor. Kousuke already made DANCE IN GROOVE, KAMIKAZE, EVERYBODY'S CRY, RED, DA MAJOUR BEATZ and more. He was offered to make remixes of YESTERDAY, BOY MEETS GIRL, DRAGOSTEA DIN TEI, again by Avex under his current sideproject and he did accept the challenge.

In late-2005, he decided to pursue his productions for Intercord Japan under his various one-hit-wonder sideprojects: Peking-Duck, Malibu Pine, Paradise, Lovescandals, Sculpture, Dunhill, China Blue, Yellow Crash and Scandalous. Then he began making ghost-productions and remixes to P+S Records and they were released in compilations "P-TRANCE Vol. 1 and Vol.2. The last productions he ever produced were "Lovescandals - Friends", where he did remake of his song "DJ Kaya - Friends" and above mentioned.

Kousuke passed away on 27th February 2008 due to excessive alcohol consumption, which caused liver diseases. He was the most important trance figure to entire japanese trance community in the history. After he passed, his friends and team decided to remix his songs as the tribute to his dedications and "TRIBUTE ALBUM -SCOPRION-" was released in Summer 2008. The album contained remixes by Overhead Champion, DJ Tora, Delaction, DJ Uto, DJ Ten, Heavens Wire, DJ U☆Hey?, ZIP FM, DJ Minagawa, DJ Kaya, Y&CO and DJ Ozawa.

As a fan of his music, he's only reason that got me to Trance Rave Best XI in 2021. I did fall into his music instantly when I heard his handzup trance song KAMIKAZE and then SCOPRION.
