Really went to ham on this one with old bits like ben sims and Mark Williams. I am still experimenting and exploring more of other genres so see you on the next one!

Groove Primordial [1ZZ34N]

Paying homage to legends like Simon Digby, Truncate, Filterheadz and more. Was keen to play a mix that played out old bits and new bits that fit well in my opinion. More to come!

Ancient Future [1Z21W4N]

For me, tribal or primal sounds are family with words such as "Celebration", "Festival", "Drums", "Chants", "Chimes" and more. That flame of joy beating with the bass. Behind this mix, I wanted to do something very tribal cause it's the type of sound that I realized is timeless. I was really influenced by the Ingoma Label in terms of design and sound wise. At just 21 years old, Malaysian-born DJ now based in Perth, Izz1 (@izz1maz)  has quickly carved out a niche in the scene. Drawing deep inspiration from the sounds of 1990s and 2000s techno, his mixes are a masterful blend of grooves and funk that pay homage to the golden era of techno. 

With a cutting style reminiscent of Will E Tell from Wetmusik and infused with the dark, hypnotic elements of early 2000s "void" techno, he delivers sets that are both nostalgic and forward-thinking.

His dynamic performances have graced the decks at Modulus KL and FLUX Perth, and he has shared his unique sound through guest mixes on Yaxinvite and Dosed Audio.
