"MIDVA's new ep, Out:Side, is an ode to LoFi house music with a taste of Brokenbeat, Jazz & Beats Music.

The first track OutSide, which bears the ep's name, is a melodic sweetness supported by a solid kick that takes the track on a refreshing and groovy ride. It is followed by 'Quebradinho', a track with soulful jazzy chords, a groovy synth bassline and a rhythm loosely inspired by the Baile Funk pattern. 'Quebradinho' is then remixed into a progressive and super groovy broken-jb beat by the fabulous Mitch Von Arx. His remix remains deep and progressive while still being able to ignite a hot and sweaty dance floor. The ep ends with the remix of the track OutSide by Mab'ish, in which we feel the creativity of this multi-faceted artist, dancer, instrumentalist and producer. Her remix takes this sweet melody and infuses it with a wobbly and human side that takes you into an enchanting and offbeat meditation.

Mab'ish - Talion's Law

@Appolonie , one of La Cité Phocéenne's finest vocalists, unveils her latest EP, Red Silk, set for release on June 19. Trained at London's Guildhall School, the Franco-British artist effortlessly blends new soul, R&B, and jazz, drawing inspiration from icons such as Aaliyah, Janet Jackson, and FKA Twigs. Her distinct voice and heartfelt compositions reflect the depth and diversity of her musical influences.

On Red Silk, Appolonie shifts away from the jazz-rich feel of her previous work, embracing a more urban sound through collaborations with hip-hop and electronic producers D'Monk (@monksdreem) and @Creestal . This transition showcases a bold fusion of styles, staying in tune with contemporary trends while preserving her unique authenticity.

The EP serves as a potent declaration of female empowerment, resonating strongly with the ongoing feminist movement. Further emphasizing this, the EP's remixes feature a lineup of talented female producers, including @dylandylanmusic , Mab'ish (@izza-soulcircle) , Naajet (@itsnaajet) , La Dame (@ladame1) , and Omakase's bosses Goldie B (goldieb_mbkong) and @Kumanope .

Mab’ish is a multidisciplinary French artist based in Brussels - DJ, producer, dancer, choreographer, and co-director of the BEAT X CHANGERS label. Active since 2014, she promotes connection through music via events like TAP WATER JAM in Paris and RISE & SHINE in Brussels. Also a producer and pianist, she’s released on several labels, composed for dance projects, and performs with the music-dance collective OSWÈLA. Alongside her work as a choreographer and performer, she curates music content through her YouTube channel Le Cercle by Mab’ish and her monthly Instagram Top 5.
