There has to be a movie or tv drama out there waiting for this wonderful piece of music to come along.  Love a short reverbed pop on an acoustic guitar and the drop out to the pizzicato strings and piano is simply gorgeous.

You do have a way. Gorgeously considered and executed.

Heard this beautiful piece last night on Rayna's show on VoWR. Really so evocative and emotional. A sense of yearning here, too, and perhaps some regret - love that quietness around 1.45, how it drops down

Izzie Yardley is a contemporary folk singer-songwriter based in Somerset. Her publicly-funded debut Imposter (produced by Dom Monks) was released in June 2023 with Karousel Buried Treasure and earned airtime from the likes of BBC Scotland, Absolute Radio and BBC Introducing. 

Live, Izzie’s recently opened for artists like This Is The Kit, Jesca Hoop, Matt Deighton, The Brother Brothers (USA), Beans on Toast, played festivals like The Great Escape and Black Deer. Outside of her own music she’s sung on recent releases from Tom Jones and Freddie and The Scenarios (The Vaccines.)
