Voices Radio Mixes

Izzy Locke is a London-based electronic DJ and producer. Inspired by the music scene in Europe and the UK she moved from Sydney to London two years ago. Her mixes aim to combine breaks, techno, acid and the occasional bit of trance to create an interesting mix of sound.

Australian born and UK-based DJs @izzylocke and VIc aka @corporateidentity are a pair of friends who have been Dj-ing together for the last three years. 

They play a mix of breaks, techno and electro inspired by the genre-defying sounds of underground club scenes around the world. The pair have been fortunate enough to play for dance floors in Ukraine, Palestine and Georgia as well as the UK.  As a solo artist Izzy Locke has experimented with sounds from the more ephemeral side of the techno spectrum, with an EP coming out on @phenomenarecords

Expect a mix that is fast, dark and emotive.

Izzy Locke - Aaja Channel 2 - 24 11 22

Between 1 April 2022 and 30 September 2022, food banks in the Trussell Trust’s UK-wide network distributed 1.3 million food parcels to people facing hardship – this is an increase of 52% compared to the same period in 2019. Half a million of these parcels were distributed to children. The charity says that for the first time, need for emergency food is outstripping donations as the cost of living emergency is leading to a drastic increase in the number of people turning to food banks for support.

With this situation being more urgent than ever, we are delighted to announce our 2nd charity compilation will be raising funds for the Trussell Trust. Not only providing incredibly vital, immediate support to people facing hardship, the charity also works tirelessly towards the goal of ending the need for food banks in the UK.

Spanning genres and tempos, reticulation stands as the label’s most ambitious project to date, and owes its thanks to the immense talent and generosity of the 20 producers involved.

All proceeds made from sales of this album, minus Bandcamp and Paypal fees, will be split equally between Palestine Children's Relief Fun (PCRF) and Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP).

From the River to the Sea - fundraiser compilation clips

This month’s mix from Izzy is a mix of music she’s recently been enjoying- moving between breaks, electro and techno. Tracks within the mix include releases on @outsiderspeaks’s latest album, a compilation of beautiful and diverse tracks raising money for Trans Rights, with all donations going to grassroot transition support groups (link below if you’re able to donate).
