This one takes me back to my childhood with R&B/G funk/hip hop vibe. Growing up in LA & listening to artists like Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, & E-40 (to name a few) the beat gave off a west coast feel which gave me the inspiration to write Ride With Me. I wanted to write a feel good record that would shine light on having fun especially in the hard times we’re in. I wrote this in the aspect of me living where I grew up in my childhood years on 93rd & Vermont. The beat brought back those nostalgic & dope memories. It’s apart of my inspiration. 💜
