The title cut flips a classic Brooklyn funk sample into a deep house burner, Last Night really gives it to us (baby), and Estrelar showcases the groovy disco side of the 'Two. Rounding out the EP is a Daniel Leseman remix that reworks the title track into a completely fresh production, bringing the deep dance floor heat for which the FOUK member and Outplay Records co-boss is known. Project Pablo - Enough [First Floor Premiere]

We've been tight with Peckham collective and record label Rhythm Section for a long time now, and catching wind of a new release is always a very big deal. Aukland-born and Peckham-based duo Chaos in the CBD have been on our radar for a minute. You'll probably know these two as the hands behind their seminal debut Midnight in Peckham, released last year. Their new release, Invisible Spectrum, doesn't disappoint. Our favourite of the tracks, "Significant Others" brings the EP to its peak with heavy jazz influences, a bongo beat and serious dance capabilities. Get ready to be wrapped up in the kind of groove that makes you forget all the bad stuff.

The Invisible Spectrum is released on 9th September.

Aus Music follow up a string of records from fresh signees Paul Woolford, Tom Trago and Recloose with the return of a long term friend and label favourite Marquis Hawkes. Hot on the heels of his recent LP ‘Social Housing’ - the Berlin based artist lines up ‘Doornroosje’, a tight a two-tracker that remains consistent with his output on Aus: dancefloor-focused jams suffused with simplicity and soul.

‘Discopuss’ kicks things off with a potent combination of samples and hardware as sassy Funk samples are propelled by tough crunching drums. The title track then follows up with piano stabs and busy, percolating synth lines driven at a pacy rate to rapturous effect rounding off another solid addition to Aus Music’s catalogue.

J-808 first EP, ‘Altern8’ tries to advance a vintage type of sound that waved around his birth in the world’s Electronic Dance Music community.

Mainly Chicago House and Detroit Techno, his influences on that release were directed by the underground movements in America by the early nineties but his credo is deeply french and actual and has a very modern point of view of electronic music despite his oldschool influences.
