There is just one step for this project: Record a piece of music in which the sound of fire — match, burner, cigarette, etc. — provides the primary source for the rhythmic track.

After Heraklit*, this is the second soundscape made with a polyend tracker - a device  I like to refer to as a digital punchcard machine. The reasons for this naming choice are obvious to anyone old enough to remember actual punchcards.

Jan Bjork has had a passionate interest in music since a very young age. Having training in playing the piano, selfstudies has led to more instruments that can be handled.
