When I first started out making music it seemed that everything I attempted sounded like Depeche Mode and I tried my best to escape this by testing out other genres. Every now and then though its fun to bounce back and make something that is authentic to the sound they created. Knowing that our copyc4t (Paolo D'Emilio) got a craze for them as well, it was a natural choice to ask if he would be up for the task to make an original for a change. Not sure how he managed with it but he took the lyrics I wrote and tweaked them to create a really nice fit.
So here it is "Poisoned Words", a song about lost love and big regrets...hope ya feel it :).
Big thanks to Paolo for his great vocal recordings and a true pleasure finally making a track with him!!!

Some people carry around a secret, a carefully buried basic feeling or a wish that is locked away deep in the abyss of their soul. Often it is only when death is already in the doorway that they can bring up and communicate what has been hidden for so long.  
This is also what happened in this true story, in which a man can only tell his wife how he really feels about her just before he dies of cancer.
