What an absolute honour and unfathomable dream it was to share my gifts alongside some of my favourite DJs in the world at Burning Man this year!!! 🥰🙌🏻

And as the theme of this year's Burn was so fittingly named "Waking Dreams", I truly felt like this was a dream-come-true on so many levels. ✨

The entire experience of Burning man shook me to my core. I was moved. Broken. Healed. Blown-open. Inspired. Loved. Held. Lost. Found. ❤️

I put everything I had into this set... and I am incredibly proud of it. I hope you enjoy the magic and feel the love and intention dripping through every grimey beat. 💦

In so many ways, this felt like a massive climax in my life and career. And this is just the beginning.

Burning Man | Waking Dreams | 2022

We cruised to the trash fence for a Tuesday morning sunrise cruise on the @dusty-rhino-1 - a blissful adventure to watch the sun peak over the mountains in the Black Rock desert (and play music to the Burning Man marathon runners, lol)with a gathering of some of my favorite people.

Playing sunrise on an art car is always one of the most unique experiences I think you can create on playa – this was an absolutely surreal morning & I am so grateful. 

Hope you enjoy this set as much as I did playing it (and reliving it over and over in my head).

This night was magical playing 1:30a-3a at Opulent Chill on the corner of 2:00 & Esplanade. Then cruising all the way across the playa to 9:30&C for a 4 hour set at Octopus Garden from 4a-8a which will be the next set I'll release!

🌴 About the mix: This mix was recorded during sunrise in the jungle at Selva Armonia as the mellow luminescence of the morning permeated the panoramic view of the Uvita coastline. It brings in organic, afro, and many other deep emotive melodies and sounds, often layering live strings and exotic instruments over the top. I hope that it inspires joy and excitement during our collective journey to Envision Festival 2023.

Playing at BM is such a wild card, so many vastly different vibes and qualities to each set depending on the camp, car, set up, crowd, weather and time of day or night. The vibe at Ego Trip was such a treat for us! They created an extremely cozy enveloping bohemian victorian zone with gorgeous couches, sweetly dimmed colorful lanterns, rugs, mirrors, bar, and the name sakes' thematic beauty tables where you can receive a makeover;)

So funny how the name Ego Trip can ring some little reactive bells, but the reality of their camp was so lacking in pretentiousness and gently disarming that it ended up being the set where we and the crowd went so deep on a very internal dance experience. And that profound vibe pulled one of the most immersed sets out of us we’ve played this whole year. It seemed like a mind meld where we all time traveled to return feeling like we accomplished something very healthy for our minds, bodies and souls.

Thanks Ego Trip. You created magic out there ❤
