( J-illy da Kidd) is an American rapper and songwriter. He was born in Evanston, Illinois and resided on the Northside of Chicago before  moving to the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, where he currently lives. J-Illy Da Kidd started writing music when he was ten years old. Music became a passion for him at a young age and he has continued pursuing that passion ever since. He released his first mixtape " Twilight Zone" in  2015 and an EP called " Classic Power" in 2018. He had his first live performance at The Garage Summer Jam in 2018
