Born in the UK, raised in Cyprus and now residing in Barcelona, J.Ioannou is no stranger to the music scene. Cutting his teeth on the DJ circuit with partner Nico Lupo as the duo act GrooveTherapyPresents, they quickly became notorious for their energetic sets and party style antics which in turn saw them play at some of the biggest clubs in the UK, namely Fabric, Ministry of Sound and the late Turnmills.
Labelling him is a difficult task, his productions and DJ sets vary from stripped down deep groovy beats to driving tech-house and never venturing far from the underground.
