To whet your appetite for tomorrow’s release, we present eleven minutes of Anjunadeep 11.

Anjunadeep, the renowned UK label responsible for breaking acts like Lane 8, Dusky, Yotto, Cubicolor, Ben Böhmer and Eli & Fur, present the eleventh instalment of their chart-topping annual compilation series.
Showcasing the sound of Anjunadeep at the turn of a new decade, prolific Bristolian DJ Jody Wisternoff and label co-founder and A&R James Grant share their seventh mixed compilation together - ‘Anjunadeep 11 Mixed by Jody Wisternoff & James Grant’.
Since the inaugural ‘Anjunadeep 01’ over 10 years ago, the compilation series has proven a hotbed for new talent joining the imprint and has helped break some of the most iconic tracks in the label’s back catalogue.
Marking the start of another landmark year for Anjunadeep, the new compilation sets the tone for what’s to come from the label in 2020. With Jody and James at the helm, ‘Anjunadeep 11’ showcases an eclectic mix of new and exclusive tracks across two meticulously crafted mixes; featuring a host of electronic original cuts, remixes and edits from label staples while welcoming more fresh faces to the series than ever before. Ranging from the hypnotic melodies of breakout talents Cubicolor and Ben Böhmer to peak-time dancefloor moments from Yotto, Alex Metric and Dosem, this year’s instalment also brings an abundance of new talent into the fold, with compilation debuts from hotly-tipped duo Leaving Laurel, seasoned breaks producer Braxton, and a truly perfect closing moment to round off the album from British producer Jon Gurd. Alongside other newcomers Qess, Luigi Sambuy and Kasper Koman, ‘Anjunadeep 11’ also features brand new material from familiar names Martin Roth, Marsh, Nox Vahn, Luttrell and Lane 8, plus a pair of unheard originals from Jody and James themselves.

Anden first appeared on Zerothree back in 2017 with "Retrograde" which pathed the way to a series of extremely intelligent melodic/progressive masterpieces from the NYC born brother pair. Streaming into their millions; Tom & Pete continue to create forward thinking melodic music with a difference.

One of the most exciting new artists on the storied Anjunadeep roster, Marsh (aka Tom Marshall) shares the third single from his forthcoming LP ‘Lailonie’ with infectious vocal house cut ‘My Stripes’. Having previously lent her vocals to Marsh fan favourites ’Soul’ and ‘Estes’, ‘My Stripes’ features the soulful vocals of Canadian songstress Leo Wood; the first of two official collaborations together.

The LP is a testament to the healing and spiritual power of music in the face of tragedy, coming together in the wake of the unexpected passing of a beloved family member. 

Written over the past three years, the album is inspired by this and other impactful life experiences, along with some of the beautiful places Tom has visited whilst producing the album.

“Lailonie’, pronounced ‘Lay-lah-knee’, has been a safe place for me to express a multitude of feelings, moments and memories I’ve experienced over the last three years. The album is a series of snapshots taken at different points as I’ve processed moving to a new country, getting married, traveling to different places. I’ve also experienced the pain of loss. We unexpectedly and suddenly had to say goodbye to Maddy’s Mom Carme at the end of 2018. I’ve had to rapidly learn how to love and stand by Maddy as we process this pain. We live in a world with so much going on. I think it’s important to have a safe place where you can go to catch your breath, process life and grow. Lailonie has been that place for me. I hope it can be that place for you.” 

‘Lailonie’ features collaborations from a wide array of talented artists including organic house music producer Wassu, soulful, jazzy vocalist Leo Wood, UK producer Phenoir, Cincinnati-based vocalist Mariel Beausejour, Austin-based songstress Mimi Page, and progressive house producer Forerunners. 

Marsh’s music has been supported by the likes of Joris Voorn, Kölsch and Rufus Du Sol, along with Pete Tong, Danny Howard and Phil Taggart at BBC Radio 1. His new album follows the release of his acclaimed collaboration with Nox Vahn, ‘Come Together’, featuring a moving spoken word sample from revered philosopher Alan Watts. On the live side, Marsh has performed at esteemed venues on both sides of the Atlantic, including Printworks London and The Brooklyn Mirage.  

With ‘Lailonie’ Marsh continues to tell his story of healing and inner peace through his enchantingly deep and progressive sound, and looks set to follow in the footsteps of fellow Anjunadeep alumni such as Lane 8, Yotto and Ben Böhmer on his rise to the top of the dance music world. 

‘Lailonie’ is available November 20 from Anjunadeep.
