I, among many other musicians, have experienced the professional and financial devastation that COVID-19 has had on the music industry. Earth Without Art is my way of expressing how important the arts are to the world by describing a world without music. "Imagine if 'Imagine' never was."

ThumP is mixed with movement, grit, grind and grain. The music is an electronic piece using synth sounds with an upbeat tone. A modest tempo is used to bring the music to life and was remixed into a faster version. The grain is rather tangible with a hum which can be heard throughout the piece. 

ThumP was the first electroacoustic piece created by Sean Botha which explored contemporary ideas in his music.  Sean was pushed into creating more immersive experiences for his listeners and can be heard in the music which came after ThumP.

(Alexander Raymond)worked on the track. You will hear his voice doing rap rendition of my lyrics!
