SGJAZZ is a jazz/soul band from Louisville, Kentucky led by internationally acclaimed producer Dr. Dundiff. Dundiff (Done Different) is a heavyweight on the instrumental beats/Lo-Fi scene with releases on labels like Jakarta, Hip Dozer, PLYGRND and Cold Busted. He is also one half of alt R&B duo Otis Junior & Dr. Dundiff.

“Inside Out” is the second single from the upcoming album “SGJAZZ Vol. 2”, to be released Nov 26th digitally and on LP. The artwork was created by Parisian illustrator MC Blue Matter.

Lush dusty Rhodes instantly set the vibe for this shuffling and grooving lofi track. Stan Forebee effortlessly create intricate melodies that flow through multiple instruments as the whole track works in perfect harmony to create an immersive and chilled lofi soundscape. From the Rhodes and keys to the bass that drifts into focus at key moments and fades to allow the percussion to finalize a section.

Daydreams

Manchester-based keyboardist and producer Matt Wilde continues his strong start to 2022 with his second single of the year ‘Inner Peace’ which sees him teaming up with multi-instrumentalist and producer, Natty Reeves.

Throughout the track Natty’s Spanish guitar and Matt’s piano effortlessly interweave to create the harmonic richness of the track, bringing a new outlook to jazz collaboration. As the track develops, the direction of the music changes through raw improvisations from Natty, and then Matt, with synth textures interplaying to create a foundation for the rest of the track to shine.
