Antics has a really up-beat, lively afro-swing flavour to it. When I wrote antics I had a particular girl in mind, who I had intense feelings for. To my dismay she had a partner who wasn’t fond of me and didn’t trust my intentions. 

However, I wasn’t planning to let him act as a barrier or prevent him from allowing her greater fulfilment in her life. So I continued to pursue her, which is why I wrote the lyric ‘I don’t care what your man thinks’.

When I initially wrote Cash Talk, it wasn’t a song that inspired me. However, when I stepped in the studio and started recording Cash Talk, the song began to flow and really came to life. Cash Talk is infused with lifestyle and passion.

Out Here is an aggressive trap song. The concept behind Out Here is freedom. Whilst writing this song, I reminisced over the times when we were able to live freely without restrictions.

Out Here also embodies the fact that everything that glitters isn’t gold. Although, being Out Here allows me to pounce on opportunities and better myself, there are also limitations to this, as I end up surrounding myself with those that aren't good for my sanity.

I open up and become extremely vulnerable on this song. Whilst I have alluded to mental health difficulties in previous songs, this song is solely about my mental health struggle. There is more of an upbeat vibe towards the end of the song, which is intentional. I’ve done this to engage listeners by showing that more upbeat times are nearby and may catch you by surprise. 

Whilst the lyrics have a dark undertone towards the end of the song, they signify that your pain can co-exist with a more upbeat future, as they are intertwined because your pain is an integral part of you.
