Italian based EXTEND Records is delighted to present its first release: JRD debut EP ‘Archaism’. Hailing from Antwerp (Belgium), JRD has made his own identity in the Techno scene being a respected and estabilished figure in Belgium for more than 30 years. He first unveiled his work to the public as a producer on a few compilations starting in 2021 via Token, Mindtrip and Prophet. JRD now makes his first appearance on a full-lenght EP with 4 cuts of classic techno sounds, a journey through his own signature, including a remix by no other than Conrad Van Orton. 

Starting with ‘The Search’ a track built on atmospheric shifts and a solitary bass drum that certainly sets the tone of the entire EP and opens to the dream with suspense. JRD then takes down the narrative tone notch to make space for 'Archaism'. Several drones and ambiences floating over a repetitive groove wisely administrated for an exceptional mental hypnosis. We are then gripped by an eclectic third track, 'Rude', a relentless rhytm with driving synth line perfectly arranged and plied along its run time to generate a palpable tension. Jordy then guides us to the final journey of 'Responder', an ethereal conclusion to an suspenseful adventure. To top it off, the release is provided with a remix that leaves no room for interpretations. Italian longstanding artist Conrad Van Orton turns the title track ‘Archaism' into a true peak-hour beast.

Blank Code is a Detroit, USA techno outfit that have released music by artists like Bas Mooy, Drumcell, Mike Parker, Audio Injection / Truncate and many more.

Uun is a fellow American artist now located in Kansas City, and as well as running the Ego Death imprint, he can be found releasing on Slam's Soma, Bas Mooy's Mord, Developer's Modularz, Svreca's Semantica, and Abstract Division's Dynamic Reflection amongst others.

'Detroit Works Pt. 2' is the second in Uun's production series following part one that was released in March 2023 to great reception.

Track one titled "Sleeping Bears" is a classic, hypnotic, acid ride with swirling effects, engaging tones and an otherworldly aesthetic made up of a modular tapestry and meticulous details.

"Blood Money Redux" is the second offering that gets instantly into a spiralling, trippy and curvaceous marathon, with a winding and dystopian sound that is ominous and cerebral.

Closing out the EP is "Perennial" that steps into a deeper realm of sonic exploration. By using subdued harmonics and delayed effects to create a space-out vibe, its energy comes from rising tension and shuffling, crunching percussion.

Two of our main artists join forces in this exquisite electronic project called Infinitelag, Lagware and Infinite Size combine their music creation tools and skills to give birth to this Tour de Force where abstract textures and rhythmic pulses collide in a curious sound voyage in the realms of the unknown.

Crazy resampling techniques, weird modular landscapes, complex rhythm programming and gray area sound design define the sound of the project.

But all this complexity also works in a club environment, bringing industrial feelings to the presumably comfortable listener.
Breaks, distortion, abstraction, aggression and mentalism all in one in one of the most rugged works we have released so far. Welcome to the Infinitelag world.
