No Excuses Snippet

My very first attempt at a soundtrack/movie score type opening. I just went off of how I thought it might sound. The beginning is dark, then transitions to a lighter, thoughtful segment...then proceeds into a modern section. Let me know what you think.

Every now and then I like to play around with my piano and Reason to see what happens.  I wanted to do a genre blend, per usual, and this is what came out.  It's still a work in progress but hey, it's me and it's what I do.

It's been a long time!  I had an amazing idea, all praise to the Most High! There is so much negativity out there right now...let's do something different.  I'm hosting a contest for artists to write, record and compete to win some cash!  Here are the rules: 

1) NO CURSING, at all! Utilize your intellect to express yourself and motivate others. 
2) NO Violent or sexually explicit lyrics! 
3) Write a 16 (verse) and a hook
