- 03 - Electric Dream :
The realm of dreams has always been a major influence on my music.

Dreams, always in motion, always evolving and changing, offer us a distorted vision of the suggestions made by our unconscious about reality. It is both an escape from our being and an attempt at internal communication, sometimes gentle and fluid, sometimes violent and disturbing. 
Dreams have no code, no rules. It is not limited.

It's these different aspects that I'm trying to convey in my constantly evolving music, where repetition is never really repetition, where textures move, distort and merge, and where genres blend together to create something different and attempt to offer unexplored soundscapes.

- The album :
Four and a half years... That's how long it took me to write "Evolve". Four years of experimentation, encounters, inspiring friendships and joys, but also personal trials, disappointments and sorrows. All these emotions and more have fed into my music over the years, culminating in this project, which I consider to be the most complete I've produced to date.

Sharing this story with you is close to my heart, and I hope that together we can bring 'Evolve' to life, giving it a dimension far greater than a simple album: a shared dream, tinged with passion and creativity. Of course, this won't happen without your support, and the rewards I'm offering will encourage you to dive even deeper into this adventure.

So join me in this latest challenge, share it with your friends and family, and let's all tell stories together!

"We would firstly like to take a  moment to thank you all for your  fantastic support over the course of  2019 as we celebrate our most  successful year to date. We felt it  necessary therefore to round the  year off with a bang as we unveil  this delightful five track selection from German producer and soundsmith: Ome. 

This project is the perfect showcase  of his unique take on Dubstep and  grime influences, as we kick off this  masterful display with a dive into  the twisted pools and shimmering synthesizer breaths of ‘Another’, constantly  switching between grime-like melodies and warbling LFO’s. Next, the gnarly,  systematic sub-lines of the title track ‘Way Too Far’, dripping in arpeggio energy.  

The fun continues as ‘Luna Sangrante’ arrives with some stunning synth work,  flipping between ascending melodies and striking chord stabs, all dancing above  some stunning compositional balancing.

On remix duty we are gifted a real treat as Busted Fingerz arrives firstly for a  beefy re-think of ‘Another’, layering in some additional squarewave drives and  atmospheric pressure, before alllone delivers a vibrant half-step overhaul of  ‘Way Too Far’ to add a final touch of diversity to this stepper-heavy selection.  We are super proud of this body of work and couldn’t be happier to welcome  Ome into our ever-expanding team here at Simply Deep!"

DUPLOC launches new prestigious VA vinyl series "140 ALLSTARS"

"When naming a project after one of the most iconic series that existed in dubstep, you know the pressure to deliver is on. But that's exactly what I needed. I have worked on quite a few compilation releases over the past years, and I'm happy with the results, but I wanted to raise the bar. The pioneering Tempa Records and its Dubstep Allstars unfortunately came to an end, but there is a place and time for everything. With respect to and in memory of Tempa's legacy, it felt appropriate to title the new project 140 ALLSTARS, especially since it is the new producers who are now responsible for keeping things fresh and interesting. And it is exactly that energy I'm trying to capture. In slight contrast to our other releases, this is a series specifically built for the sound system and I couldn't be happier with all the heavyweight cuts on Vol. 1, but most important it is sounding remarkably cohesive given it is a VA project. We are pressing the entire project on 12" vinyl and there will be at least four volumes coming through over the next year and a half. There's been a few flips of this tune already, and whilst most have and will stay unreleased, we've teamed up with Mungk to give his version away for your enjoyment. Been absolutely loving the recent sounds out of his camp - he's certainly someone you should keep a tab on.
