Gratus Animus is a sound and magick experiment investigating a.) different states of consciousness and the visceral experiences associated with them, b.) the power of sexual energy to heal, reinvigorate, and break down internal blockages and c.) the magical potential of using the voice in combination with energy and deity work. Through this exercise , I found my way to many understandings. I credit this practice with helping me gather the strands that I ended up weaving into the initial stages of The Green Mushroom project, as well as with many other things I've done since- personal milestones towards a feeling of wholeness that I've been able to cross. These victories are small, but they are all steps in a larger journey.

It is my hope that this project will inspire people who feel the way I felt to pursue the work of coming out of the darkness of fear and shame. Transformation, and new life, are possible.

Resist by maintaining Love of the Self.
Resist by maintaining fierce Loyalty to Love and Pleasure.
