This is a old song and will be redone for the Clean Up Time Vol 2 mixtapecuz the session was lost but thought I'd share it with ya anyway... There's funny story about it the beat the beat though, I used to work with this cat Rosario Beats who was from Canada. He was pretty much only working with me and a couple of his friends but liked my stuff the most so he said. Well when I heard the beat he did called Daydream I INSTANTLY wanted it cuz that sample is so dope. I asked him for it and he said " ahhhh bro I made that for my best friend you can have anything but that one" I told him I would kill it better than his buddy and he knew it but it was his boy so he couldn't let me have it. Flash forward a year or two and Lupe Fiasco comes out and had a beat with the sample in it!!! Rosario hits me up all mad that his boy didn't really do anything with it and finally gave me the beat. Well by then Lupe's song was pretty popular and I liked his version of the beat better cuz it was mixed properly. Same beat only difference was a synth sound but yea this track is from 2007 and is about the love I had for heroin and features my boy Sunny Darko who went the dark period with me....

This track is something just kinda came out of nowhere and wrote itself one day while I was in my studio. I had to do it cuz if I never heard Eminem I would have NEVER gotten into Hip Hop!!! I was a stupid wannabe gangster kid and thought Hip Hop was corny. Then he came along and blew me away and a friend told me Underground Hip Hop Emcees all rap like he did and talk about things other than money and bitches. That opened me up to a whole world of dope music and I learned about other white emcee's and gave me the confidence that I could do this someday. After 10 years of chasing this music dream, I have people constantly telling me I remind them of Eminem or they think I'm the next Eminem....... BIG ASS SHOES YO!!!! Thank you for the compliment but really? I mean I hear it at EVERY SHOW!! FROM CALI TO UTAH!!! EVERY CITY I RAP IN! But man I just want to be J.Terrible so before word gets back to Mr.Mathers I wanted to say my piece and let it be known I DON'T think I'm him in any way. Lived a similar life and rap well but that's where the similarities stop, so yo.... can I just be J.Terrible people?
