And we can’t think of a better person to celebrate and host for the one year mix series then this bass queen herself! This mix is packed with heaters ready to warm your pre rave or night out now that we can do so again! This mix is full of bassy goodness, including global, dancehall, grime, rap riddims ready to bun out dem’ speakers for a late summer boom turn up!

This bad gyal remains a staple in the west coast’s underground music scene as a consistently evolving local favorite. Mandai is a well-known member of Vancouver’s notorious Lighta! Crew, having acquired her inspiration from the bass scene of the early 2000s combined with Caribbean sound system music and culture that captured her soul. From digging through crates of vinyl to sourcing intimate and forward-pushing sounds, she stays true to her heart when creating a vibe. Her curations have expanded through the years and weave through genres that span continents. She is alumni to some of the best events such as Bass Coast, Shambhala, Diversity, The Field, LIB, Symbiosis’s Oregon Eclipse, and Vancouver’s infamous Ting!
