I felt I had to have ambience in the background even though its set in space - bro im not Jean Michael Jarre lol (still a dummy)

Now that I think about it, it sounds more like a mix between lofi and synthwave.

Also this was done for school so rn you are literally listening to my homework.

Just something I’ve been working on for the past few days. Reminds me of when I was in my highschool’s concert band.

I’ve just realised this is the first time I’ve posted anything religious publicly in a long while, with every other public track being secular. Might release my Don Moen - Hiding Place cover soon as well as I reckon it’s good enough to be public now.

Speaking of “uni is a grind”, Jesus (and all He’s given me) is the one thing holding me together right now. Last year sucked for me, now here’s hoping this one’s better. I hope this blesses you.

I just learned how to fingerpick. I recorded the guitar bar by bar except for the last bit. The ticking you hear in the background is the metronome.

Edit 27/9/2022: 525 plays now. First @RoLand listens to it across like 2 days, then @SomethingForSenro listens to it on loop for like 6hrs 43mins straight. These two must be so tired of this song by now that whenever they hear that iconic lil “dundundundun dun” they groan in agony like a guitar store employee hearing either “smoke on the water” or “freaks” by surf curse for the billionth time

Edit 2: i originally envisioned that tin whistles would play the lead part, but it is impossible for them to play this because of the low b. 525 listens never picked up on this and i realised this far too late.
